Consecutive doubles by Reid Gorecki and Chris Walker in the sixth inning landed two of the three runs for the losing team. Pedro Feliz drove in the only other run in that same frame on a sacrifice fly. Jake Eigsti and Alvin Colina had the only two-hit nights for the Riversharks.
Bridgeport starter, Matt Pike (3-8), earned the victory as the righthanded starter completed seven innings of three run, seven hit, two walk, and four strikeout baseball. Jesse English struck out two in a scoreless eighth while Wanel Mesa made his Bluefish debut in the ninth frame. The reliever allowed one walk in a scoreless frame.
