Uncasville, CT - Natisha Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod picked up a 77-71 victory over Ramat Hasharon on Monday, December 19. Hiedeman finished with 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Later in the week, Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod defeated Maccabi Urban, 80-70, on Thursday, December 22. Hiedeman tallied 12 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals. On Monday, December 26, Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod picked up another victory, this time against Hapoel Petah Tikva, 93-72. Hiedeman filled the stat sheet with seven points, eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals in the win.

Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones and USK Prague defeated Virtus Bologna, 85-61, in a EuroLeague contest on Wednesday, December 21. B. Jones led the charge with a double-double, tallying 22 points, 16 rebounds, one assist and one block. Thomas notched a double-double of her own with 18 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three steals in the win.

DeWanna Bonner and CBK Mersin picked up their second-straight EuroLeague victory on Thursday, December 22 against Mechelen, 84-69. Bonner tallied 17 points, eight rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block in the win.

Connecticut Sun players are back in overseas action this week beginning with B. Jones, Thomas and USK Prague matching up against KP Brno at 11:00 AM EST on December 30. On December 31, J. Jones, Bonner and CBK Mersin play Antalya 07 at 6:00 AM EST. Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod take on Bnei Herzliya at 12:00 PM EST; and Holmes and Sassari ring in the New Year with a contest against Brixia at 2:00 PM EST on January 2.
