BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a roster move today. OF Michael Planeta was transferred to Bowie from Single-A Delmarva. With the move, the Baysox have 24 active players on the 25-man roster and five players on the Disabled List.

Planeta is batting .378 (14-37) in 11 games for the Shorebirds this season. He has recorded three doubles and five RBIs. In 15 games with Advanced-A Frederick, he was batting .154 (8-52).
