OF Matt Diaz Rejects Orioles Claim

In news today from the Baltimore Orioles spring training camp, OF Matt Diaz, whom the Orioles claimed on release waivers on Tuesday from the Tampa Bay Devils Rays, has refused the claim by Baltimore.

Under terms of release waivers Diaz had five days to either accept the claim or to reject the claim and become a free agent.
