TAMPA, Fla. - Jacoby Ellsbury is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with the Tampa Yankees on Monday, June 29th at George M. Steinbrenner Field.
Ellsbury last played May 19th with the New York Yankees before being placed on the disabled list. In 37 games, he was batting .324 with 14 stolen bases.
The T-Yanks are in the middle of a four-game series against the St. Lucie Mets with the first pitch scheduled for 7:00pm and gates opening at 6:00pm.
Military Monday's with the Tampa Yankees offer free admission for all military personnel. Fans can take advantage of half price burgers & chicken tender baskets from 6:00-8:00pm. Tickets start at $4.00 and parking is free.
