Match Preview:

Oakland Roots return to action against LA Galaxy II after a two-week hiatus due to USL health and safety protocols. This is the second time this season Roots are facing LA. In the previous meeting, Roots came away with their first win in the USL Championship in team history thanks to a Jeremy Bokila goal in the final minutes of the game.

Having struggled to score goals in the last several games, Roots have added forward Joseph Restani to the roster. Joe comes to Oakland from Project 51O, making him the first player from the development squad to sign with the first team. While originally from Elk Grove, Joe spent his college years in the Bay Area playing for Saint Mary's College.
