Oakland Roots SC Announces the Signing of USL Veteran Center Back Niall Logue

Oakland, CA - Oakland Roots SC have added long-time USL Center Back Niall Logue ahead of the 2024 USL Championship season. Logue most recently played with Hartford Athletic in 2023 after spending two seasons with Memphis 901 FC. The 28-year-old has totaled more than 80 appearances in USL between Championship and League One.

"Niall knows this league well," said Head Coach Noah Delgado. "We know he is a strong defender and will fit well in the system we play here in Oakland."

Logue was born and raised in Northern Ireland, before coming to the United States for college following time playing for Institute Football Club, a semi-pro club in Northern Ireland. In college he first represented Yavapai College for two years before transferring to Ohio State University.
