Oakland Roots Host NorCal Rival Sacramento Republic

Match Preview: Oakland Roots set to face rival Sacramento Republic for the first of three times in 2022. Oakland won the season series in 2022 by winning the fourth and final meeting in October following three draws earlier in the season. Darek Formella now with Roots scored twice for Sacramento in the season series in 2021, while Captain Emrah Klimenta scored the game winning goal in the only win between the two sides.

Fans who wear their Oakland Soul gear to the game Saturday will be able to get a complimentary ticket to Wednesday's game by visiting the guest service booth on east 10th street.
