
Oakland Roots and Soul SC Community Investment Round Surpasses One Million Dollars on First Day

Oakland, CA - Oakland Roots and Soul Sports Club have surpassed 1 million dollars raised in the first day of the Community Investment Round being live to the public. In less than six hours, the total investment raised shot up to over $1,000,000 with more than 1,200 new owners joining the Club.
"We knew this would be a success, but never expected the overwhelming support from the community as quickly as it has come," said Co-founder of Oakland Roots and Soul SC, Edreece Arghandiwal. "What this shows is that The Town will show up for you if you show up for them. Oakland is absolutely a sports town and will continue to be one for generations to come."
The campaign is still open to the community to invest now at wefunder.com/oakland. With the current pace, the campaign has a chance to become one of the most successful community investment campaigns in American sports history.
