NYRBII Head to Florida for Second Matchup of the Season against Inter Miami CF II

HARRISON, N.J. - New York Red Bulls II (3-1-3 14 pts.) hit the road for another matchup with Inter Miami CF II (3-2-1 10 pts.) at Chase Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

New York heads into the matchup having just lost their first MLS NEXT Pro match of the 2024 season. The 2-0 loss against Columbus Crew 2 at MSU Soccer Park broke New York's club-record six match unbeaten streak to start the year.

Miami is coming off a loss of their own, having dropped all three points in a 3-1 loss against New England Revolution II. Yannick Bright scored the lone goal for Miami as the club extended their three-match winless streak on the road to start 2024.

The last time these two sides faced off on March 24, it was a high scoring battle at MSU Soccer Park. The clubs fought to a 3-3 draw, with New York coming out on top in the shootout, 4-2. Julian Hall netted a goal and Ibrahim Kasule bagged a brace in the match to help the side earn the second point in the standings.

Red Bulls II will be looking to continue where they left off last season in Florida against this Miami II side. New York dominated in a 3-0 victory on the road, with Frank Ssebufu and Ibrahim Kasule both netting goals in the clean sheet victory at Chase Stadium in 2023.

New York has let to lose a road match this season in their four matches away from home. The club has posted a 3-0-1 record, with their most recent road trip ending in a 1-1 draw at Subaru Park against Philadelphia Union 2. Red Bulls II has a +4 goal differential on the road this season after only allowing three goals in their four matches.
