NTDP Set to Host Baseball Night in Ann Arbor on April 4

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - USA Hockey's National Team Development Program is set to host Baseball Night on Friday, April 4, at 7 p.m. EDT when U.S. National Under-17 Team squares off against the Sioux City Musketeers. The game will be held at the home of the NTDP, the Ann Arbor Ice Cube.

Scheduled festivities for Baseball Night include an appearance by the official mascot of the Detroit Tigers, Paws, and the FOX Sports Detroit Girls. A ceremonial puck drop will also be held prior to the contest. The game will serve as the first leg of Team USA's final home stand of the 2013-14 United States Hockey League regular season.

Fans attending the game will have an opportunity to take pictures with and get autographs from Paws and the FOX Sports Detroit Girls. Additionally, giveaways will be held throughout the night with prizes including "Nothing Stops Detroit" bracelets, hats, and tickets to a Detroit Tigers home game.

The Under-17 Team will cap regular-season play the following night, April 5, during Fan Appreciation Night. The U.S. will face off against the Dubuque Fighting Saints at 7 p.m. EDT at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube. Numerous giveaways and contests will take place throughout the game and fans in attendance will receive a 2013-14 team poster.

Tickets are available at the NTDP front office located at 2121 Oak Valley Drive in Ann Arbor during normal business hours of 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling (734) 327-9251. Adults are admitted for $7, while kids and seniors are $5. Youth hockey players wearing their team jersey can get in for just $1 and group discounts are available.
