Blaine, Minn. (September 13, 2010) -- The NSC Minnesota Stars will honor their fans this Saturday night during their final home match of the regular season against the Major League Soccer bound Vancouver Whitecaps. Fan Appreciation Night will feature a game-long beer special in the Stars' beer garden and prize giveaways, including a trip for two to Chicago.

"Fan support is the backbone of any professional sports team, and we want to take Saturday night to thank the fans who've been here for us this season," Stars general manager Kris Bjerkness said.

Fans on Saturday night will all be given tickets for drawings throughout the match. During stoppages in play, NSC Minnesota staff will draw tickets for Schwan's USA CUP prize packs, Puma prize packs, signed MLS jerseys and oversized Adidas Jabulani soccer balls.

After the game, a drawing will be held for the grand prize, a three-day, two-night VIP trip for two to Chicago to watch the Chicago Fire and Kansas City Wizards in MLS action on October 12. For all drawings, fans must be present in order to win.
