Minnesota United FC News Release
The NSC Minnesota Stars are the proverbial team no one wants to face right now as they head into the USSF Division 2 Pro League playoffs. The team is riding a four game winning streak after defeating the FC Tampa Bay Rowdies last Friday night 3-1 in their regular season finale. Read the match details here.
That victory, coupled with a loss by the Puerto Rico Islanders, guaranteed the Stars at least the seventh seed in the eight team playoffs. However, the Stars have to wait until the end of regular season play for all teams this weekend before knowing their playoff opponent. The Stars do know they will face the number two seed, either the Vancouver Whitecaps or Carolina Railhawks.
The team also knows that no matter who they play, they will be hosting the first game of the two-game total goal series. The match will be Wednesday, October 6 at 7:00 pm in the NSC Stadium. A special coupon is available below for one free youth ticket with the purchase of one adult ticket. Come out and support the Stars in their historic first playoff game in history!
Tickets will go on sale starting Monday, October 4.
