December 27, 2022 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Northern Arizona Wranglers News Release

Miller, 6'0", 201 lbs., will be playing his first year of professional football, with the Wranglers, this coming season. Miller is coming off a very productive career at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Miller is a versatile defensive back, who played as a hybrid linebacker, and safety, for the Ragin' Cajuns. Miller recorded 85 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, four passes defensed, one sack, and one fumble recovery. Miller earned the recognition as the top defensive player in the LendingTree Bowl, and was named to the Pro Football Focus Second Team All-Championship squad. Miller was named by PFF on this team among elite company, including current Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Miller graduated with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology, with a focus on sports management. Miller is a certified personal trainer, and wants to also work in physical therapy in the future, outside of playing football.

Miller was born in Pensacola, Fla., and attended Escambia High School, where NFL Hall-of-Famer Emmitt Smith, and Trent Richardson previously attended, and of course, played football. Miller was inspired to play football when he was younger for many reasons. Football is a big deal where he's from, and Miller describes it as the kids "therapy, and getaway." Miller has played football for as long as he can remember, and grew up around a family that was heavily involved with the sport.

Miller stated, "football teaches you a lot about life and brotherhood." Miller plays with a chip on his shoulder, and is driven to continue playing for his love of the game, and his family. Miller feels as though he has unfinished business with the game of football.

Miller stated that he is "excited to come play in a championship atmosphere." Miller wants Wranglers Nation to know that he is a competitor, and will give 100% effort on every play. Miller expanded: "I can't wait to give the fans what they want, and what they want is a show." Miller is excited to meet the fans in Prescott Valley, Ariz., and enjoys having the opportunity to be a role model for the kids. Miller also wants to help the Wranglers bring the IFL National Championship Trophy back again.
