The Cutters crushed the Jackals 8-2. It was New Haven's first win against New Jersey in nine games. Cutters starter, Wes Mindingall got his third win of the season, going eight innings, allowing five hits, two runs, three walks and striking out two. Cutters hitters Billy Rich and Jeff Brooks each went 3-for-4, Brooks had two RBIs, and first baseman, Hector Lebron, went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBIs for New Haven. Jackals starter, Jackson Crowther lost his ninth game of the season going only two and a third innings, giving up eleven hits, eight runs, walking one and striking out two. New Jersey's two runs were scored off of a Darren Ciraco homerun, his first as a Jackal, in the top of the ninth inning.

ELMIRA 6, ACES 5

Elmira rallies for two runs in the top of the ninth to beat the Aces 6-5. Pioneers reliever, Matt Elfeldt picks up his third win of the season, going two-thirds of an inning and shutting down the Aces offense. Matt Burch came in during the bottom of the ninth and sealed the victory with his third save of the season. Pioneers catcher Jeff Funaro was an offensive machine going 4-for-4 at the plate, with a homerun, an RBI and scoring two runs. Aces' reliever Angel Miranda got the loss his fourth of the season, going one and a third innings, allowing four hits and two runs. First baseman, Al Corbeil led the Aces offense going 4-for-5 at the plate, hitting a homerun, scoring a run and plating three RBIs.

BANGOR 10, QUEBEC 8

The Lumberjacks rally with five runs in the bottom of the seventh to come back and beat the Capitales 10-8. Bangor reliever Ben Fox picked up his first win, going four and a third innings, allowing one hit, one run and striking out three. John Boker picked up his second save for the Jacks. Shortstop Paul Powell went 3-for-5 for the Jacks with an RBI and scoring a run. The Jacks belted out fifteen hits, with each starting hitter with at least one hit. The Capitales led 8-3 going into the bottom of the seventh, when reliever Michael Hoyt gave up four runs. Capitales hitters Benoit Emond and Shane Hopper each had two hits and three RBIs leading the team's offense. With the win the Jacks pull themselves to within one game of division leading Quebec.

NORTH SHORE 8, BROCKTON 7 (10)

North Shore comes back to win their second extra inning game in a row 8-7. Recent pick up Nick Vandegriff wins his first game for North Shore, holding Brockton hitless and striking out one. Spirit third baseman Mike Granger went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, while seven other Spirit hitters each had two hits. North Shore starter Aaron Dean, went three innings, allowed one hit, one run and struck out two. Rox reliever Dave Stephens picks up the loss, his second of the season, going two-thirds of an inning, allowing three hits and the winning run. Brockton's offense was led by hitters, Chad Stewart, who went 2-for-4, Saul Bustos, who hit the only homerun of the game and Jake Daubert, who had two RBIs.
