The Jackals crush the Cutters 11-4. New Jersey starter Joel Bennett picked up his sixth win of the season going six innings, allowing six hits, three runs, three walks and striking out six. The Jackals offense was led by leftfielder John Anderson, who went 4-for-5, scoring three runs, centerfielder Darren Ciraco, who went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and shortstop Chris Rowan who went 4-for-5, scoring three runs, with five RBIs and two homeruns. Cutters starter Buddy Bengel lost his first game of the season, going five innings, allowing ten hits, five runs, walking one and striking out three. New Haven third baseman, Jeff Brooks led the offense going 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Bangor starter Jerry Long picked up his sixth win of the season as the Lumberjacks beat Quebec 5-1. Long went six and two-third innings, allowed four hits, one run and struck out six. Bangor first baseman, Mark Burke led the offense going a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, with a homerun. The loss ends the Capitales seven game win streak. Quebec starter Lance Franks went six and a third innings, allowing eight hits, four runs and striking out four. Capitales rightfielder Benoit Emond went 2-for-5 at the plate leading the offense. The win pulls Bangor to within two games of division leader Quebec.

The Spirit rally in the bottom of the eleventh to beat the Rox 3-2. Spirit starter Bryan Morse went eight innings, allowing eight hits, one run and striking out five. Reliever Fontella Jones picked up his first win of the season, pitching a scoreless top of the eleventh allowing only one hit. North Shore hitters, Mike Granger, Joseph Hastings and Erick Mejias each had two hits apiece. Brockton starter Derek Anderson also got no decision, he went seven and a third innings, allowed six hits, two runs and struck out eight. The Rox offense was led by Chad Stewart and Mike Sandoval who each had two hits. Rox Brian Jones and Mike Torres each hit a homerun. The win pulls North Shore to within two games of division leader Quebec, tied with Bangor.
