
North Texas Fresh to Hold Tryout

North Texas Fresh News Release
FORT WORTH - DALLAS- The North Texas Fresh Men's Professional Basketball Team announced that they will host their 2010-2011 Player Tryout from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sat, Oct. 2 at the Grauwyler Recreation Center in Dallas, TX.
"The North Texas Fresh Basketball Organization will allow players a unique opportunity to showcase their talents as we will also scrimmage against the ABA's Texas Rimrockers," stated Tim Anwar, General Manager of the North Texas Fresh.
It is recommended that players show up no later than 11 a.m. Players can register online by going to www.northtexasfresh.com and filling out the registration form.
Registration online is only $50 and should be paid to the North Texas Fresh no later than Sept 30. Paypal or major credit/debit cards are accepted for online registration. Player agents and professional scouts are welcome to attend at no charge but a courtesy e-mail to the Fresh prior to the tryoutwill be appreciated so that credentials will be available upon arrival.
The North Texas Fresh tryout will lead to the North Texas Fresh Training Camp in late fall. A select group of players from the Training Camp will be selected North Texas Fresh official roster. The Fresh are also doing something new with having a official development team that will also play games as well as continue to have a chance at moving into the actual official roster.
"We won't cut any players from training camp this year," stated Anwar. "We feel that the opportunity to become a professional is what the Fresh are here for and that means keeping all players in training camp involved with us until their time comes."
