Indiana Star to make major contribution in Fort Worth, TX

North Texas Fresh News Release

FORT WORTH - DALLAS: The North Texas Fresh announces the addition of 6'9 forward/center Jeremy Holland to their 2011 - 2012 team roster. Holland has already caught eyes of other minor league teams as the "new kid on the block" for the Fresh with his size. This season, the Fresh look for their rookie forward/center to be a big time contributor on both ends of the court. Holland adds flexibility to an already flexible roster. He can fill it up from 3 point range, but can also do the dirty work inside to put points on the board. He played collegiately at Indiana Southeast and will now be suiting up as a rookie for the North Texas Fresh.

"Jeremy puts us in a place where we want to be on both ends of the court," stated Owner Jay Bowdy. One thing that we needed was a guy with size that teams would have to respect when he is on the floor, but seeing that you have to respect him anytime on the offensive end, spreads the floor and will cause major havoc. I'm very excited with us having him and now teams will have to worry about another monster on our team."

The road to success won't be easy with the Fresh this year, as they've decided to only bring back half of the returners from last season. The upside to that is A.D. Duncan and Troy Edwards will be returning to bring some much needed experience from last season. They are both looked at to be leaders for this season and their performance along with Holland and other rookies will be a necessity for success. The Fresh will be playing their games this season in Crowley, TX and will be hosting games against various professional teams.
