CARY, N.C. - North Carolina FC secured its third-consecutive shutout victory over the weekend, concluding its preseason slate with a 1-0 result over the Charleston Battery.
Daniel Rios notched the decisive goal in the third period of play. The match was the first game action for the Chivas Guadalajara youth product, who is currently on loan with North Carolina FC.
North Carolina FC will start the USL regular season this weekend when its hosts the Tampa Bay Rowdies at 3:30 p.m. at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park.
