CHICAGO - Cleveland Gladiators defensive back Marrio Norman has been voted AFL MVP for Week 9 of the 2014 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season.
Norman (6-1, 205, Coastal Carolina) collected 5.5 tackles and two interceptions in Cleveland's 45-42 victory over the LA KISS in Week 9. He leads the League with eight interceptions on the season and is one pick shy of the team's single-season record of nine, set by Levy Brown in 2012.
Fans had 24 hours to vote for the AFL MVP award on ArenaFootball.com. Other candidates included Philadelphia defensive back James Romain and Pittsburgh defensive back Brandon Freeman.
