Game Preview: Philadelphia Battles Tampa Bay in Week 10

PHILADELPHIA - The Soul are hoping to keep the momentum going this week after last week's home win over New Orleans. After falling to the Tampa Bay Storm in Week 3, the Soul (4-4) will have another opportunity to face the Storm (3-5) at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, May 17 at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN3.

The Soul defeated New Orleans (1-6) in week 9, 79-60. In this game, the Soul reached their season high in scoring. Soul QB Dan Raudabaugh completed 19-of-26 passes for 271 yards against New Orleans. He was also awarded the Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Game. On the season, Raudabaugh has completed 162-of-242 passes for 2,045 yards and 41 touchdowns.

The Soul receiving corp. has been very productive this season and has solid chemistry with, QB, Raudabaugh. Ryan McDaniel has been a threat on the Soul offense, as he leads his team in receiving with 60 receptions for 834 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season. Veteran, Tiger Jones has also been a leader in the Soul receiving corp. this season. Tiger has 52 catches for 691 yards and 18 touchdowns. To compliment McDaniel and Jones, V'Keon Lacey has 19 catches for 244 yards and 7 touchdowns on the season.

Defensively, James Romain won the Riddell Defensive Player of the Game during Week 9 with a total of 6.0 tackles, two pass break ups and two interceptions, including one that was returned for a touchdown. Rayshaun Kizer is also having a great year in the secondary, recording 43.0 tackles, five assisted tackles, 11 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, two interceptions and two touchdowns. Teddy Jennings is a rookie defensive lineman, leading the team in sacks, with 4.5. He also has 8.0 tackles, six assisted tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery on the season, while veteran linebacker Brandon Perkins is having one of his finest season with 4.0 sacks.

The Storm are coming off of a Week 9 bye and are trying to snap a four-game losing streak. Storm wide receiver Amarri Jackson leads his team with 58 receptions, 702 yards and 13 touchdowns. Storm Quarterback Randy Hippeard has completed 169-of-291 passes for 2,223 yards and 48 touchdowns on the season. On the Storm defense, Jean Fanor leads the way with 51.5 total tackles with five pass breakups. Rod Issac has also been one of the main contributors with 39.0 tackles, three pass breakups and two interceptions.

The Soul will head back on the road for Week 11 where they will play the Cleveland Gladiators Friday, May 23 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH.
