Normal CornBelters Announce B45 as Official Bat Provider

NORMAL, Ill. - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, announced they have partnered with B45 Inc. to be the official bat of the CornBelters. The CornBelters will play their first home on Tuesday, May 19 at 6:35 p.m. using the B45 bats versus the Gateway Grizzlies ("CEFCU Opening Night").
B45 Inc. is based out of Québec, Canada and has been making high-quality wood baseball bats from yellow birch since 2003. The B45 bats have been designed and created by current and former professional baseball players to insure the best quality and thought is put into each and every bat made.
"We are very excited to join forces with the Normal CornBelters as we become their official bat supplier for the 2015 season," said Marc-Antoine Gariépy, Business Development Manager for B45 Inc. "Our yellow birch bats are made by former professional players that will be proud to provide the next generation of pro ball payers with the best wood available."
The CornBelters were the best offensive team in the Frontier League in 2014 with a .290 batting average. They also led the league in doubles with 203, 33 more than the River City Rascals which were second best in the league.
"B45 is one of the top bats in professional baseball and we have one of the top offenses in professional baseball so I am very excited to see the fireworks this summer," said CornBelters President/General Manager Steve Malliet. "Fans can expect a lot of fun at The Corn Crib this summer!"
Individual tickets for the season are currently on sale. Ticket prices for the season will start at $6 for lawn seats, $8 for bleacher tickets and $12 for box seats.
