NOLA Gold News Release
The MLR season 2 is right around the corner and so is the 2019 Schedule.
There will be eight home MLR games in 2019 with the season starting the weekend of January 27, 2019. We will be playing in optimal weather for New Orleans. Our staff from GM and head coach to the distinguished field committee are working hard already, learning from year one to improve the Gold and your game day experience. We look forward to working with you to make us all champions!

NOLA Gold is proud to announce our USA Open Tryouts. Each athlete has the opportunity to show our coaches that they belong in Major League Rugby by performing a series of drills & exercises at our tryout. All athletes who stand out among their peers will be invited to join NOLA Gold on a professional or Academy contract for the upcoming 2018/19 season.

Rugby 101
Object of the Game:
Two teams of 15 players should by carrying, passing, kicking, and grounding the ball, score as many points as possible, the team scoring the greater number of points to be the winner. The players do so, each observing fair play, and sporting spirit, according to the Laws.
Scoring:
Try: 5 Points
Conversion Kick: 2 Points
Penalty Goal: 3 Points
Drop Goal: 3 Points
Penalty Try: 7 Points
