Down three games to one in the 2007 Calder Cup Finals, the BEARS must win Thursday night to save their remarkable season. The defending Calder Cup Champions and current Eastern Conference champs have to win three games in a row to claim back-to-back titles.

Hamilton pushed HERSHEY to the brink Wednesday night with an impressive 6-2 win at Copps Coliseum. For the fourth straight game in the series, the Bulldogs scored first by picking up a 2-0 lead after one. Hamilton would run the score out to 4-0 early in the third period on a goal by Michael Lambert before the BEARS found the scoreboard with a pair in the final frame. Jakub Klepis and Tomas Fleischmann each scored in the third to cut the lead to 4-2, but the 'Dogs again responded with two short-handed goals in the final minute to win convincingly.

Should the BEARS bounce back tonight, they would have the benefit of playing the final two games of the series on home ice. Game 6 in the series would be next Tuesday night at GIANT Center at 7:30 p.m., with a potential Game 7 slated for Friday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. along HERSHEYPARK Drive. The Bulldogs with a win Thursday can win the club's first-ever Calder Cup title.

Thursday's game can be seen in central PA on Comcast Digital Cable channel 246, which is WHTM-TV's WeatherNow Channel. John Walton and ABC-27 sports director Gregg Mace have the call of the action. The game can be heard not only Thursday via the BEARS Radio Network through flagship station 100.1 WQIC and WHYL-AM 960, but the game will also be broadcast nationwide in the United States and Canada via XM Satellite Radio's Home Ice channel 204. The all-hockey channel will carry the game beginning at 7:30 p.m.
