No Blizzard Home Dates Affected in 2013 Revised IFL Schedule

Green Bay, WI : The Indoor Football League Board of Directors today unanimously accepted a revised schedule for the upcoming 2013 season.
Due to the passing of Toby SerVoss, majority owner of the Cheyenne Warriors, the Warriors will not participate in the IFL during the 2013 season.
"We are very saddened by the sudden passing of Toby SerVoss", stated IFL Commissioner Robert Loving. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the SerVoss family."
None of the Green Bay Blizzard's 2013 home dates have been affected however the Blizzard will now welcome the Texas Revolution on Saturday, April 27 and the Nebraska Danger on Friday, May 10. The Cedar Rapids Titans and the Texas Revolution previously held those dates, respectively.
In addition, the Blizzard's previously scheduled away game against Texas has been moved from Saturday April 13 to Saturday, May 25. The April 13 date is now a bye week for the Blizzard.
The IFL will move forward with a 9-team, 63 game regular season in which each team plays a full 14 game schedule.

IFL ANNOUNCES 2013 PLAYOFF STRUCTURE
The IFL postseason will begin the weekend of June 22nd and will culminate with the United Bowl during the weekend of June 29th . The playoff structure is as follows;
Number of Teams: 4
Number of Rounds: 2
Qualifiers: The regular season conference champion and the highest seeded wild card in each conference
Round 1 (Conference Championship): The Regular Season Conference Champion (#1 Seed) will host the Wild Card (#2 Seed) in each conference. The winners will be crowned Conference Champion.
Round 2 (League Championship): The higher seeded Conference Champion will host the lower seeded Conference Champion. The winner will be crowned United Bowl Champion.
