No. 2 Vipers to Play No. 7 Tulsa 66ers in Round Two of NBA D-League Playoffs

MCALLEN, Texas - The No. 2 Central Division Champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers (35-15, 2-0) will play the No. 7 Tulsa 66ers (27-23, 2-1) in round two of the 2013 NBA Development League Playoffs.

The series between the Vipers and 66ers will tipoff with game one Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m. CT at Tulsa. Then, the teams travel to the Rio Grande Valley to wrap up the series at State Farm Arena. Game two will be held Sunday, April 21 at 5 p.m., and if necessary, game three will take place Tuesday, April 23 at 7 p.m.

Game 2 - Sunday, April 21 - Tulsa @ Rio Grande Valley, 5 p.m. CT

The Vipers and 66ers met six times during the 2012-13 regular season and recorded a 3-3 record. RGV leads Tulsa 20-13 all-time. Most recently, Tulsa traveled to RGV for back-to-back games. The Vipers won both, 104-94 on March 26 and 118-105 on March 27.

Pepper's at Uptown in McAllen will host a Watch Party, Friday, April 19 to cheer on the Vipers at Tulsa in game one. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Food and drink specials will be offered throughout the night.

Game one of each of the three rounds of the NBA D-League playoffs is hosted by the team with the worse regular season record, while games two, and three, if necessary, are hosted by the team with the better regular season record.

Dates and times for the best-of-three finals, which will follow the same format as the first round, have yet to be determined and will be announced when they are available. A broadcast schedule for the second round is forthcoming. For the complete 2013 NBA Development League schedule see below.
