DENVER - Jesse Killian became the millionth fan to attend a National Lacrosse League game this season at today's Arizona Sting versus Colorado Mammoth West Division semifinal playoff game.

Killian was honored at halftime and presented with a custom-made "millionth fan" Mammoth jersey by team general manager Steve Govett and NLL deputy commissioner George Daniel.

Killian, a season ticket holder since the Mammoth's first year in Colorado, drives approximately 70 miles from his home in Frisco, Colo., for each game. He was dressed in a Mammoth jersey and a hardhat with a red goal light on top.

"We're very proud to surpass the 1 million fans mark in a single season for the first time in league history," Daniel said. "The Mammoth's great fans have played a huge role in allowing us to reach this milestone and we're very happy to achieve this goal here at Pepsi Center."

Killian will also be awarded tickets and airfare to the NLL championship game. In the event the championship game is played in Denver, Killian will receive airfare on Frontier Airlines, the Mammoth's presenting sponsor, as well as other Mammoth prizes.

Through the end of the regular season, the NLL had recorded 957,935 fans in 88 games and the All-Star Game. Last weekend's division semifinal playoff games in Buffalo, Rochester, Portland and Colorado added another 39,674.
