NJ/NY Gotham FC Reveals Reimagined Fan Experience for 2024

HARRISON, NJ - NJ/NY Gotham FC today announced exciting details of the club's reimagined matchday experience for 2024. Debuting this Friday, March 15, as fans are welcomed back to gameday for an elevated Gotham FC Fan Fest presented by CarMax, media personality and prominent voice of the game, Aaron West, will serve as in-arena host, and Second Gentleman, Douglas Emhoff will participate in the club's ceremonial lighting of the torch, while critically-acclaimed country and LGBTQ+ artist Brooke Eden will sing the National Anthem.

Starting on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Red Bull Arena outside Gate B, a block party atmosphere will kick off the reimagined Fan Fest. Live entertainment, a DJ, food trucks and interactive activities will be featured elements of the event. With new robust branding and activations that instantly immerse fans in a Gotham FC-like atmosphere upon arrival, the festival environment will set the stage for excitement leading up to the Gotham FC vs. San Diego Wave FC showdown in the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup at 8 p.m.

As Gotham FC's first in-arena host for 2024, West will engage fans during pregame and halftime with new segments that include trivia, a fit check spotlight on fan style, and moments designed to draw supporters into the matchday experience. West is known for his work on CBS Sports as a regular fixture on Golazo Network's matchday programming, Box 2 Box, and across social media. He has championed some of the game's best partners, endorsing La Liga, Heineken, and EA Sports to promote its soccer video game franchise.

National Anthem singer Eden has been recognized by Billboard as a "fiery country star-in-the-making," and named one of CMT's Next Women of Country. Eden has used her personal journey to self-acceptance to create music that is both bold and passionate with the message that it is okay to be who you are. With a dynamic stage presence, Eden has performed alongside renowned artists like Garth Brooks and Keith Urban. Her latest EP, Outlaw Love, showcases her authentic '90s-influenced sound and compelling message.

Mini Pitch powered by RWJBarnabas Health: Powered by Gotham FC's official healthcare provider, fans are encouraged to show their skills on an inflatable mini pitch, where they can participate in their own small-sided, 3v3 game before the game

Photo Opportunity with 2023 NWSL Championship Trophy: Fans can take a photo with championship hardware when they stop by the Gotham FC mirror wall located in the inner plaza opposite the plaza event space Crossbar.

EA Sports Truck: The EA SPORTS FC 24 Gaming Truck will roll in providing fans the opportunity to play the new 2024 NWSL Season - featuring Gotham FC players in the new kits - for a chance to win a copy of FC24 and other prizes.

Penalty Kick Game: Fans of all ages can step up to this shooting challenge to see how many shots they can hit through the hole to win special Gotham FC prizes.

Spirit Station and Face Painting: Fans can get their craft on and show their spirit by making a custom sign to cheer on the 2024 Gotham FC team or take their team pride to the next level with face painting.

Pregame DJ & live entertainment will set the tone to pump fans up ahead of the match. DJ Lovelisa Dizon aka "LUV" will be creating the vibe on March 15.

Food Trucks: Fans can enjoy local flavors with food trucks Merry Hot Cocoa & Pie Oh My of NJ.
