BINGHAMTON - The Binghamton Senators will honor the Maine-Endwell High School football and field hockey teams as well as the Chenango Forks High School football team at the Night of Champions on Dec. 22 during the Senators game against the Albany River Rats.

Players, cheerleaders and mascots from the three championship squads will be invited onto the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena ice during the first intermission to be recognized for their outstanding athletic accomplishments this fall.

"As a professional hockey team we understand just how difficult and precious it is to win a championship," said Tom Mitchell, the Senators executive vice president of operations. "We want to give the entire community a chance to express their appreciation of these three teams by honoring them during a Senators home game."

Prior to the game the Homer Brink Elementary School chorus will be on the ice to sing "God Bless America."

Coupons for discounted tickets to the game are available for parents and students of both high schools. The coupons will be available at both schools and can be redeemed at the Senators office for a $2 discount of the regular ticket price.

Tickets remain available for the game against Albany. To purchase tickets call (607) 722-SENS weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets can also be purchase at the arena box office or at the B-Sens executive office on the third floor of the arena.
