MONTGOMERY, AL - The Jacksonville Suns (24-15, 60-49) rode the untouchable left arm of Justin Nicolino to a narrow 1-0 victory over the Montgomery Biscuits (20-19, 55-54) to win the series on Tuesday night from Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium.

Justin Nicolino (W, 9-3) earned the win as he went the distance in the complete game shutout, holding the Biscuits without a run on seven hits without walking a batter and striking out four over nine brilliantly worked innings. The left-hander only needed 92 pitches (68 of them for strikes) to get through his marvelous Tuesday night outing. The complete game shutout is the left-hander's second of his career, both coming in the 2014 season.
Grayson Garvin (L, 0-5) pitched well but was dealt the loss after allowing the only run of the game (earned) on four hits while striking out three Suns and not issuing a walk in his six solid innings.
The game remained scoreless until the Suns broke through with a run in the top of the sixth inning. Austin Nola drove in Isaac Galloway with a RBI single to break the scoreless deadlock and put the Suns ahead by a 1-0 score in the top of the sixth.
The Suns have now earned a series victory by winning three of the first four games of the set.
The Suns and Biscuits will be back at it on Wednesday, with first pitch of the series finale set for 7:05 p.m. CT (8:05 p.m. ET). The Suns will start right-hander Dustin Moseley (0-1, 6.00) while the Biscuits will send out a righty of their own in Victor Mateo (10-6, 3.57).
Suns fans can listen to Wednesday's game on the Suns Baseball Network, 94.1 WSOS-FM or through www.jaxsuns.com, MiLB.com or the Suns iPhone or Android app, beginning at 7:50 p.m. ET with the Memorial Hospital Suns Pregame Show.
