
Nicolas Hasler, Yura Movsisyan Receive International Call-Ups

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that midfielder Nicolas Hasler and forward Yura Movsisyan have been called up to their respective national teams for UEFA Nations League matches.
On Friday, Nov. 16, Hasler and Liechtenstein will host FYR Macedonia at Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, while Movsisyan and Armenia will travel to face Gibraltar at Victoria Stadium. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 1:45 p.m. CT (ESPN+, UnivisionDeportes.com).
The two sides will meet three days later when Liechtenstein plays host to Armenia at Rheinpark Stadion on Monday, Nov. 19, beginning at 1:45 p.m. CT (ESPN3, UnivisionDeportes.com). Both Armenia and Liechtenstein compete in League D in the UEFA Nations League.
Hasler, 27, made his senior-team debut for Liechtenstein on Aug. 11, 2010, and has since earned 55 caps. Hasler scored his first international goal against Bosnia and Herzegovina in a 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifier on Oct. 11, 2013, and added his second in a friendly against Finland on June 7, 2017. Recently named the 2018 Liechtenstein Footballer of the Year, Hasler started both of his country's matches in the October round of the UEFA Nations League, competing against Macedonia and Gibraltar.
Movsisyan, 31, has earned 36 caps for Armenia since making his international debut in a 4-0 win over Andorra on Oct. 12, 2010. The striker has scored 10 goals for his country since making his senior-team debut for Armenia, including a fifth-minute strike in a 2-2 draw against Italy in FIFA World Cup qualifying on Oct. 15, 2013. Most recently, Movsisyan earned consecutive starts against Gibraltar and Macedonia in UEFA Nations League play in October, scoring in the 67th minute against Macedonia.
