SPRINGDALE, AR - The Naturals' parent club, the Kansas City Royals, announced a transaction on Friday affecting the Northwest Arkansas Naturals' roster. Outifelder Nick Van Stratten has been activated from the seven day disabled list.
Van Stratten is hitting .276 with no home runs and 13 RBI for the Naturals this season in 41 games. He was placed on the disabled list back on July 20. Van Stratten was originally drafted by the Royals in the tenth round of the 2006 draft out of St. Louis Community College at Meramac.
Following the transaction, the Naturals' roster is at the Texas League limit of 25 active players.
