Nick Shepperd to post up for LA Aftershock
October 6, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Los Angeles Aftershock News Release
Shawn Blattenberger, President of the Los Angeles Aftershock announces that Nick Sheppard, 6'11 center out of LSU and Pepperdine, will play for the Aftershock this season.
Sheppard, a dominant big man with soft hands and a shooters touch, will play along side Darwin Carter and more players to be named as agreements are reached. The 2005 ABASPL CO-MVP has spent his off season conditioning, and might be in the best shape of his professional career. Sheppard averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds during the ABA Summer Pro League, leading the Aftershock to the championship.
