Nick Miele Named to USL Team of the Week for Week 27

SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC 2 defender Nick Miele has been named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 27 after recording an assist and scoring the game-winning goal in S2's 3-2 victory over Austin Aztex on September 17 at Starfire Stadium. Miele assisted Ashani Fairclough's equalizing goal, then netted the late winner in a 3-2 win that secured S2's place in the 2015 USL Playoffs, which begins this Friday at Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

S2 returns to a week of training before traveling to Colorado Springs on Friday, September 25 at Sand Creek Stadium (6:00 p.m. PT / live-streamed on SoundersFC.com). The last day of media access before the team departs for Colorado is Thursday, September 24 following S2's scheduled training session. Coaches and players will be available beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m. PT.

Sounders FC pub partners The Atlantic Crossing Pub [6508 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115] and The Odin Brewing Company [402 Baker Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98188] will host viewing parties for Friday's S2 playoff match. The first 25 people to show up at each location will receive an S2 giveaway item.
