Red Bull New York News Release
HARRISON, NJ (July 4, 2014) - The New York Red Bulls hit the road and play tonight when they take on the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium at 8:30 PM. The match will be broadcast nationally on the NBC Sports Network.
New York earned a 2-2 draw at home against Toronto FC on June 27, the team's last regular season game. Bradley Wright-Phillips scored his league-leading 12th goal of the season in the 93rd minute to salvage a point at home for the Red Bulls. The Red Bulls, on 19 points with a 4-5-7 record, are currently tied for fifth place with the Columbus Crew in the Eastern Conference.
Tonight's match is the second of three meetings between the two clubs this season, with the Red Bulls posting a 4-0 victory at Red Bull Arena on April 23 behind a Wright-Phillips hat trick. Houston currently sits in eighth place in the Eastern Conference with 17 points and a 5-10-2 record, but welcome back U.S. Men's National team midfielder Brad Davis from 2014 FIFA World Cup duty.
