
2014-2015 CONCACAF Champions League Group Stage Schedule Released

HARRISON, NJ (July 4, 2014) - The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) released its schedule for the 2014/2015 CONCACAF Champions League, the region's premier competition for clubs, earlier today.
The New York Red Bulls have been drawn against fellow MLS side Montreal Impact and CD Futbolistas Asociados Santanecos (CD FAS) of the Salvadorian Premier Division in Group 3 and will begin play on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 8:00 PM against CD FAS at Red Bull Arena.
New York will play both teams home and away in a round robin format and the club with the most points from the group will advance to the tournament's knockout round. The winner of the CONCACAF Champions League will represent CONCACAF in the FIFA Club World Cup. The Red Bulls, who qualified for this year's 24-team regional tournament after winning the 2013 MLS Supporters' Shield, will be participating in the competition for the first time since the 2009-2010 iteration.
Ticket information for the Red Bulls' Champions League home matches will be released at a later date. A full match schedule can be found on www.concacaf.com.
