
New York Red Bulls Name Jason Baum Senior Director, Communications

HARRISON, N.J. (April 1, 2015) - The New York Red Bulls announced today that Jason Baum has been named Senior Director, Communications. Effective immediately, Baum will oversee the day-to-day public relations operations for the club and will be the main point of contact for all media requests. He will report directly to Red Bulls Vice President of Marketing and Communications Joseph Stetson.
Baum previously served as the Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Communications Officer for the Rutgers University Athletic Department. During his nine year tenure at Rutgers, Baum oversaw the Office of Athletic Communications, the department's official athletics website (ScarletKnights.com), the online digital network of Rutgers Athletics (RVision) and all broadcast opportunities for the department.
The York, PA, native began his 15-year career in communications at his alma mater, West Virginia University, and later served in sports information roles with the University of Maryland and University of Central Florida. Baum and his wife, Andrea, reside in New Brunswick, NJ.
