New York Red Bulls II Scheduled to Face New York City FC II in Second Round of 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup

HARRISON, N.J. - New York Red Bulls II have been scheduled to face fellow MLS NEXT Pro side New York City FC II in the first round of the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on, Tuesday, April 2. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 at Belson Stadium.
New York will enter the match off their first win in the competition's history after defeating Hudson Valley Hammers, 5-1, at MSU Soccer Park on Wednesday, March 20, in Montclair.
New York City FC II are coming off a sizable win of their own, in a 3-0 defeat of FC Motown at MSU Soccer Park.
This will be the first edition of the New York Derby in 2024, with the first matchup in MLS NEXT Pro between these two being on April 10 at Belson Stadium.
