
New York Power Announces Regional Television Schedule

New York, NY - The New York Power will have their full 2003 game schedule broadcast on TV with the majority of their local broadcasts aired on MSG Network and the remainder on Metro Channel and Fox Sports NY (FSNY). The announcement was made today by Power General Manager, Susan Marenoff.
"We are very excited to once again be a part of the MSG Networks family," stated Power GM Susan Marenoff. "MSG offers our fans the ability to watch a full season of New York Power in 2003."
MSG Networks family, which consists of MSG, Fox Sports New York (FSNY) and Metro, will carry all non-nationally televised Power games, beginning with FSNY's broadcast of the team's season opener in Atlanta, GA against the Atlanta Beat on Saturday April 5 at 7 p.m.
MSG will televise a total of eight Power games (four at home, four on the road) beginning with the team's game against the Carolina Courage on Saturday, April 26 at 7:00pm. The Metro Channel will cover four games, two home and two away, while FSNY will carry three games, one home and two away.
The Powers' remaining six games will be carried nationally and will be announced at a later date. Joe Tolleson will be the play-by-play announcer for the local broadcasts, while Ellen Weinberg will provide color.
"We are thrilled to continue our association with the Power," said Mike McCarthy, executive vice president MSG Networks. "Their past two season was tremendously exciting and it will be a privilege to be able to bring another successful year into our viewers' homes."
