
New Mexico United to Embark on Holiday Tour - Visiting 13+ Communities Around the State

NM, STATEWIDE - The state's professional soccer team announced today a statewide 'Holiday Tour', with players and coaching staff visiting schools and delivering most-needed items to nonprofits and community organizations around New Mexico. The tour is scheduled to begin on Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13, and continue the following week.
"We are the state's team, and living up to that mission means visiting and truly becoming a part of communities throughout New Mexico," said Peter Trevisani, majority owner and CEO of New Mexico United. "We are so excited to meet with our fellow New Mexicans and help fill some of their needs this holiday season."
After identifying specific areas, NM United staff reached out directly to organizations in those areas to find out their most urgent needs. Fans of the soccer team were asked to drop off any donations at the team store, in addition to the items being provided by NM United.
The team is seeking the following items:
Non-perishable food items
Small bags of dry pet food
Firewood
Queen and Twin XL sheet sets
$10 unwrapped toys
$10 gift cards suitable for children 11+
Toiletry items
High-efficiency laundry detergent
School supplies
Children's clothing of all sizes, especially coats
The first leg of the United Holiday Tour, taking place December 12-13 will include the following communities & their respective nonprofit organizations:

Farmington
Espanola
Albuquerque
