New Marauders Homestand Begins Tonight

BRADENTON, Fla. -- The Bradenton Marauders, Single-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, open their next homestand tonight at 6:30 p.m. against the Lakeland Flying Tigers, the Single-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.

The following promotions will take place at LECOM Park on the homestand:

SUMMER CAMP DAY (WEDNESDAY, JULY 27) -- Kids Summer Camps from throughout Manatee County can enjoy fun in the sun for the Marauders' 12 p.m. game.

THIRSTY THURSDAY (THURSDAY, JULY 28) -- Every Thursday at LECOM Park is Thirsty Thursday, presented by Budweiser and Ticket Sarasota. Fans 21 and over can enjoy specials on beer, and fans of all ages can enjoy specials on soft drinks.

BRADENTON NINE DEVILS TRIBUTE NIGHT (FRIDAY, JULY 29) -- The Marauders pay tribute to the Bradenton Nine Devils, who played in the Florida State Negro League from 1937 through 1956. The team will wear Nine Devils throwback jerseys, and former Nine Devils player Morris Paskell will be in attendance. Fans can view a display table on the Fan Plaza with historic photos and information about the Nine Devils.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT (SATURDAY, JULY 30) -- Kids and their families can enjoy Back to School Night, presented by Achieva Credit Union. The first 500 kids ages 12 and under will receive a Marauders backpack. The evening finishes with a post-game fireworks show, presented by Budweiser.
