
New England Revolution Academy Highlights: April 25, 2022

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - All four New England Revolution Academy teams returned to action last weekend as the MLS NEXT season continued. The U-19s and U-14s took on Empire United, while the U-15s and U-17s faced the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC.
The U-15s dominated the weekend, winning their game against the New York Red Bulls, 6-1 and earning a second victory on the weekend vs. New York City FC by a score of 2-1. Raphael Alves (2007 - Framingham, Mass.), and Peyton Miller (2007 - Unionville, Conn.) each scored twice on the weekend. The U-14s also notched a win with Rudy Figueroa (2007 - Providence, R.I.) scoring twice to help lift his team to a 4-1 victory over Empire United.
The U-19s fell in their match, 3-1, with Morris Matthews (2003 - Cambridge, Mass.) notching the goal for New England. The U-17s also dropped both of their matches vs. New York Red Bulls and New York City FC by scores of 4-0 and 3-0, respectively.
The U-19s, U-17s and U-15s all stay home next weekend for MLS NEXT games in Massachusetts. The U-19s will host BW Gottschee Academy, while the U-17s and U-15s welcome Nashville SC to Gillette Stadium on Saturday. The U-14s will head out to Newton, Mass. to face Valeo FC. Academy forward Triton Beauvois (2003 - Malden, Mass.) became the 21st Revolution Academy player to make their professional debut with New England Revolution II, entering Sunday's match vs. Orlando City B in the 70th minute.
Defender Morris Matthews (2003 - Cambridge, Mass.) scored the U-19s lone goal vs. Empire United on Sunday.
Peyton Miller (2007 - Unionville, Conn.) scored twice while Raphael Alves (2007 - Framingham, Mass.), Braydon Fagundes (2008 - Warwick, R.I.), Tito Nichols (2007 - Milton, Mass.), and Simon Henao (2007 - Dedham, Mass.) all scored once to lift the U-15s to a 6-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday.
Rudy Figueroa (2007 - Providence, R.I.) scored twice in the U-14s 4-1 win over Empire United on Sunday.
