Greenville Triumph SC News Release
Greenville, SC - The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club has announced a partnership with PNC Bank for the 2020 season that will feature sponsorship of a premium match day fan experience as well as a new community program benefitting the Overbrook Child Development Center.
The partnership will see PNC become the naming rights sponsor for the new premium field level experience for the 2020 season. The newly-named PNC Field Club features pitch-side seating directly opposite the team benches, catered food and beverages, private restrooms and parking for all ticket holders, as well as special pregame field access for Field Club Premier ticket holders.
"We welcome PNC Bank to the Triumph family and are excited about partnering with them in the community and to deliver a great new experience for our fans," said team president Chris Lewis. "This partnership is aligned with our mission to bring joy and positive impact to our Upstate community. In addition, it provides a tremendous new platform for our fans bringing them closer to the action on the pitch while also providing a fantastic entertainment and social experience."
PNC and the Triumph have teamed up to raise money through the bank's Grow Up Great early education initiative, with PNC making a donation to Greenville's Overbrook Child Development Center for every Triumph corner kick taken at Legacy Early College during the 2020 season. GTSC will also host PNC's "Great Night Match" on April 26th against North Texas SC.
PNC Grow Up Great is a bilingual $500 million, multi-year initiative of the PNC Foundation to help prepare children from birth to age 5 for success in school and life. Since 2004, PNC Grow Up Great has focused on helping children, especially underserved children, beyond the classroom by supporting learning and social-emotional development at home and across communities through free resources and tools provided to parents, guardians, caregivers and neighborhood organizations.
"PNC and the Greenville Triumph share a commitment to supporting our communities," said Weston Andress, PNC regional president for Western Carolinas. "Through the 'Great Night' match, we have a terrific opportunity to highlight the importance of early education. We look forward to celebrating the critical role teachers play in preparing pre-K students to learn, grow and succeed in and out of the classroom."
Season and single match tickets are available now ahead of the club's home opener against the Chattanooga Red Wolves on March 27th. Season tickets for the PNC Field Club start at $880 for a 16-match schedule.
