
NCFC Travels to Memphis 901 FC for Wednesday Night Match

Cary, NC - North Carolina FC will travel to Memphis 901 FC on Wednesday, September 23 at 8 p.m. The game will air on ESPN+ as the USL Group G teams square off. It will be the fourth and final game between the two teams this season.
North Carolina FC has won two of three games against Memphis 901 FC in 2020. The most recent match between the two teams ended in an 89th-minute game-winning goal from Nazmi Albadawi. Hadji Barry and Conor Donovan scored the other two goals for NCFC in the 3-2 victory. Five combined goals were scored in the last two matches between the two teams.
NCFC last played on Saturday against the Charlotte Independence. Only one goal was scored in the match by Independence defender Aaron Manud. The match was a competitive one, with eight yellow cards and two red cards. Albadawi received a red card for NCFC and will not be eligible for Wednesday night's match.
Manny Perez was a standout in the match, playing all 90 minutes. He completed 86.5% in the attacking half and sent six crosses into the box. He also got off two shots.
Memphis played Louisville City FC on Saturday and fell 4-1. Cal Jennings scored 901 FC's lone goal in the match in the 44th minute.

Memphis 901 FC- #9 Keanu Marsh-Brown
Marsh-Brown is tied for the second-most goals scored on Memphis 901 FC with three. He has taken 16 shots, eight of which have been on goal. The speedy forward will look to get behind NCFC's backline and score on Tambakis.
