NC Courage Host Orlando Pride for Spiderman Night

CARY, N.C. - The North Carolina Courage will host the Orlando Pride for Spiderman Night at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park on Friday, July 31, at 8:00 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast on Prime Video and tickets are available here.
Saturday's match will be a part of the 2026 edition of Courageously Cool Summer, featuring multiple ways for fans to stay cool during the North Carolina summers. More information on the program can be found here.
The Courage are currently ninth in the NWSL standings with a 6W-6L-3D record and 21 points. The Orlando Pride are seventh in the NWSL standings, with a 7W-8L-2D record and 23 points.
Ashley Sanchez has been the central attacking threat for the Courage, scoring almost half of the team's goals so far this season. Forward Evelyn Ijeh has also been an effective threat in front of goal for the Courage, scoring her fourth goal of the season in last weekend's match against the Utah Royals.
With 32 chances created and one assist, Riley Jackson has been the primary playmaker for the Courage. Additionally, Ryan Williams and Shinomi Koyama have been pivotal creators for the Courage. So far this season, Williams has created 22 chances and had three assists, and Koyama has created 25 chances and made four assists.
Erica Meg Parkinson made the first start of her NWSL career last weekend, playing the full 90' against the Utah Royals. Vilde Bøe Risa, the newest member of Courage Country, is available for selection and could make her debut against the Pride after signing with the Courage earlier this week.
Orlando will be without Golden Boot leader Barbra Banda, who has scored 12 of the team's 22 goals this season due to the WAFCON tournament. Ally Lemos and Haley McCutcheon have been the central creators for the Pride, with 23 and 20 chances created, respectively, and each with two assists.
Without Banda, the Pride will rely on all-time great Marta to fill the attacking void.
The Pride are led by head coach Seb Hines, who was awarded NWSL Coach of the Year in 2024.
