April 9, 2021 - National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
North Carolina Courage News Release
CARY, N.C. - The North Carolina Courage announced today that tickets are sold out for this Saturday's first match of the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup vs. the Washington Spirit. The May 1st match against Orlando Pride also sold out earlier this week. A limited number of tickets have been placed on hold for both matches to accommodate new Courage season ticket purchasers.
To ensure a safe and exciting experience for fans, the North Carolina Football Club has implemented a wide range of safety protocols for the 2021 season including a mask requirement, socially distanced seating, temperature checks at entry gates, and sanitizing stations. A complete rundown of health and safety info can be found here.
Sahlen's Stadium at Wakemed Soccer Park will host only 23% of its capacity in order to maintain six-foot social distancing, well below the governor's 50% cap on capacity. Additionally, only clear bags are allowed to be brought into the stadium. Clutch purses and diaper bags accompanied with an infant are an exception. Backpacks, bags and purses are not allowed to be brought into the stadium to facilitate ease of entry. No tailgating will be allowed. More information on game day expectations, procedures and health & safety protocols can be found in our "Know Before You Go" guide.
