UTAH JAZZ ASSIGN JEREMY EVANS TO NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE UTAH FLASH
Utah Jazz forward Jeremy Evans was assigned to the Utah Flash, the Jazz's NBA Development League affiliate, it was announced yesterday. The assignment marks the 43rd time in the 2010-11 season an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate, and it is the first assignment for Evans, a rookie out of Western Kentucky. Evans (6-9, 196) has appeared in 32 games this season with the Jazz, averaging 3.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 6.6 minutes. Evans has scored in double figures twice this season, logging 11 points in 11 minutes in his NBA debut against Denver on Oct. 27, and scoring 10 points in eight minutes against the Lakers on Jan. 25.

Danny Green dropped a season-high 29 points and added a team-high 10 rebounds. Donald Sloan scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half, while Patrick O'Bryant added 17 points and eight boards.
Marqus Blakely led the Energy with 20 points while Courtney Sims provided a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Six of eight players scored in double figures for Iowa.
Robert Vaden led the 66ers in scoring with 20 points and forward Ryan Reid paced Tulsa with nine rebounds and two blocked shots.
The Wizards were led by Javaris Crittenton's 21-point, 12-assist effort. Anthony Goods contributed 19 points, and Renaldo Major and Chris Ayer each added 17.
Ryan Thompson paced Utah with 21 points of the bench. Kevin Krueger recorded a double-double scoring 10 points and handing out 12 assists. Orien Greene and Tony Gaffney scored 18 points each for Utah in the win over New Mexico.
Trey Johnson finished with a team-high 23 points. Derrick Byars had a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds. Stephen Dennis contributed 16 points on 5-for-9 shooting, six assists and three steals.

45 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 11 NBA games last night, seven as starters.
Indiana's Josh McRoberts started and scored 15 points on 5-for-5 shooting in a loss to Dallas.
Orlando's Brandon Bass tallied 16 points, three rebounds and two blocks in a loss to Chicago.
Cleveland's Samardo Samuels started and scored 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting in a win over New York.
