MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES' HASHEEM THABEET ASSIGNED TO DAKOTA WIZARDS
The Memphis Grizzlies assigned center Hasheem Thabeet to the Dakota Wizards, Memphis' NBA D-League affiliate. The assignment is the 23rd time an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate this season. Thabeet, the second overall selection in the 2009 NBA Draft, becomes the highest-drafted NBA player to join an NBA D-League roster. In 50 games for Memphis this season, he averaged 2.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 10.3 minutes. A 7-3 native of Tanzania, Thabeet played three seasons at the University of Connecticut, averaging 10.3 points and 8.5 rebounds in 100 career NCAA games.

Cezary Trybanski scored 24 points on 10-for-11 shooting for Reno in a win over Iowa. Othyus Jeffers led the Energy with 19 points.
In his first game on assignment from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Darnell Jackson led Erie with 34 points and 12 rebounds. Danny Green, also in his first game on assignment from the Cavs, had 15 points and five assists.
Morris Almond scored 40 points on 14-for-20 shooting to lead Maine over Fort Wayne. Jared Reiner paced the Mad Ants with 18 points.
Larry Owens tallied 21 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists to lead Tulsa over Springfield. Mustafa Shakur and Deron Washington each added 24 points for the 66ers. Justin Hawkins led Springfield with 32 points.
Andre Barrett tallied 23 points and 10 assists to lead Idaho over Albuquerque. Donell Taylor added 18 points. Chad Toppert paced the Thunderbirds with 27 points.

Ersan Ilyasova scored 17 points points off the bench for Milwaukee in a win over Indiana.
