ROCKETS RECALL JERMAINE TAYLOR FROM VIPERS

Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced that the team has recalled guard Jermaine Taylor from Houston's single-affiliation NBA D-League partner Rio Grande Valley. Taylor was re-assigned to the Vipers on Feb. 19. Taylor (6-4, 210, Central Florida) has averaged 19.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.00 steals in six games (two starts) with the Vipers. In his first stint with Rio Grande Valley, Taylor posted back-to-back 30-point outings at Albuquerque (30 points on 2/2/10 and 32 points on 2/3/10). A rookie out of Central Florida, Taylor has averaged 2.6 points and 0.2 assists in 17 games with the Rockets this season.

GAME BETWEEN RIO GRANDE VALLEY VIPERS AND SPRINGFIELD ARMOR RESCHEDULED FOR MARCH 1, 2010

The game between the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Springfield Armor originally scheduled for Feb. 10 has been rescheduled for March 1.

The game, which was postponed due to severe weather conditions, will be played at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Jeff Trepagnier came off the bench to score 22 points as the Iowa Energy defeated the Reno Bighorns 120-116. Earl Barron scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Iowa, while Curtis Stinson finished with 13 points and 15 assists. Reno was led by D.J. Strawberry, who finished with 21 points, while Rod Benson had 19 points and 17 rebounds.

Keith McLeod had 21 points and 13 assists and Carlos Powell recorded 18 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists for the Thunderbirds in a loss to Bakersfield. Shane Edwards and Chad Toppert each posted 17 points for the T-Birds, with Toppert scoring 14 in the fourth period alone. Antoine Agudio added 13 for Albuquerque. Brian Butch led all players with 30 points and 24 rebounds for Bakersfield.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

20 players with NBA D-League experience competed in eight NBA games last night, five as starters.

Starting for Philadelphia, Louis Williams tallied 26 points in a win over Golden State.

C.J. Watson came off the bench to score 20 points for Warriors in a loss to Philadelphia.
