SUNS ASSIGN TUCKER TO IOWA
The Phoenix Suns assigned second year forward Alando Tucker to the team¡¦s NBA Development League affiliate Iowa Energy. Tucker is the 12th player assigned from an NBA team to an NBA D-League affiliate this season. The 6-6, 205-pound Tucker, originally selected by the Suns with the 29th overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft played in six games for Phoenix during his rookie season, averaging 3.7 points and 1.3 rebounds. No stranger to the NBA D-League, Tucker appeared in 21 games for the Albuquerque Thunderbirds during an assignment from Phoenix, where he averaged 27.7 points and 6.0 rebounds.

Ææ Cartier Martin led the Energy with 30 points, including five 3-pointers. Four other Iowa players finished in double figures, three with double-doubles. Curtis Stinson notched 18 points and dished 10 assists. Othyus Jeffers recorded 15 points and 12 rebounds and Courtney Sims finished with 14 and 10.
Ææ Antonio Meeking led the Bighorns with 24 points and seven rebounds. Patrick Ewing Jr. tallied a double-double for Reno, finishing with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Ææ Blake Ahearn and Quemont Greer each scored a game-high 29 points, Greer adding 12 rebounds to net a double-double; Will Frisby recorded his first double-double of the season with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Ææ All five starters for Sioux Falls scored in double figures, Glen McGowan leading with 19. Frank Williams hit four 3-pointers en route to 18 points while Carl Elliot finished with 14 points and a team-high eight assists.

Eight players with D-League experience competed in five NBA games last night, two as starters.
Ææ As a starter for the Washington Wizards, Andray Blatche finished with 12 points and six rebounds in 35 minutes of play.
Ææ In 30 minutes of play, Devin Brown also scored 12 points for Hornets.
Ææ Brandon Bass and Jose Juan Barea scored eight points each, Barea adding eight rebounds as the Mavericks defeated the Trailblazers 102-94.
